  1. What is arising in me right now? Are there thoughts and feelings that are surfacing?

  2. What am I bringing with me, in my “interior backpack”, to the climb?

  3. What are my expectations of this climb?

  4. What does this upcoming activity, the contemplative climb, mean to me? How is this relevant to my life right now?
